The dog literally did not want to leave! 2nd story: Jane was having appetizers at Doris Day's Cypress Inn when Animal Planet was filming a show about pets and their caretakers. Anyone that has been to Carmel knows how "pet-friendly" it is. Anyway, it inspired her to begin writing Furfumes names on cocktail napkins - each one funnier than the previous.
