Jane's inspiration: After reading a 2005 study by Dr. Alan Hirsch, which found that wearing the scent of grapefruit made individuals appear an average of six years younger, Jane was immediately intrigued.  Inspired by this fascinating discovery, she set out to create Yuzu - an homage to grapefruit, enriched by one of her favorite citrus notes, the vibrant and multi-faceted Japanese yuzu.  This blend was further influenced by Jane's deep connection to Japan, where she once lived and found inspiration in the peaceful ambiance of Kyoto.  The city's robed monks, meticulously raked zen gardens, and the sacred temples built from hinoki wood and exuding its calming aroma, left a lasting impression, as did the still, mist-laden air that carried the scent of fresh green earth, leaves, and a quiet sweetness.  Years later, these cherished memories helped shape the essence of Yuzu - a fragrance built around native Japanese aromatics that captures the freshness, serenity, and timeless beauty of her time there.
