Psyche (Spicy Floral) ~ {meaning "soul" in Greek) A rich and seductive spicy floral that opens with the sophisticated citrus of bergamot, brightened by the energizing warmth of clove.  Its heart reveals a lush bouquet of heirloom roses and the intoxicating, creamy sweetness of champaca - an exotic Indian magnolia flower known for its sultry and deeply sensual aroma.  Champaca has long been revered in both ceremonial and cultural contexts, often used in spiritual rituals and as an offering to deities in Hinduism and Buddhism, where its fragrance is believed to bring clarity and tranquility.  The base of Psyche settles into the incense-like warmth of frankincense, a revered resin used for thousands of years in religious ceremonies across the world, from ancient Egypt to the temples of the Far East to Christianity.  Its aromatic qualities evoke a sense of sacredness and connection to the divine, offering an ethereal and grounding effect.  The finish is rounded with precious woods, along the resinous richness of frankincense - creating a harmonious balance of depth, mystery, and allure. 

Jane's inspiration: Jane had often been asked if she had seen the film "Perfume" or read the book.  When she finally did, she was captivated by the fictional rivalry between two Parisian perfumers, one of whom created the legendary perfume "Amour et Psyche".  The description of the perfume in the book intrigued Jane, and she envisioned it with a more modern construction.  Thus, Psyche was born - a fragrance that intertwines the allure of ancient ingredients with a modern elegance, much like the enduring myth of Psyche and Cupid, a tale of love, transformation, and the soul's eternal journey.
