Jane's Inspiration:  Jane created Houston with her husband in mind, inspired by the scent of their home in Carmel Valley, where the air was filled with the calming herbal notes from their lavender farm and the earthy, sage-studded hills.  The fragrance embodies the spirit of a ranch - rugged and rustic - combined with the smoky ambiance of a foggy Carmel night and the warmth of a beach campfire.  It evokes nostalgia and grounding, reminiscent of the vintage elegance of a historic wooden library, with shelves lined with timeworn leather bound books, and the comforting scent of polished wood.  This fragrance captures both the refined charm of old world spaces and the untamed freedom of open land.  During a celebrity event, Jane was asked to blend this fragrance for none other than Robert Patrick, know for his role as the T-1000 in Terminator 2.  After experiencing the scent, he remarked that it was like stepping into the best humidor he'd ever been in - an incredible compliment to the rich, smoky depth of Houston.
